Ice cream is fresh and great selection of flavors.

Amazing menu with lots of choices here! Basically, if it's cold and worth consuming at the beach on a hot day they pretty much have you covered! One of the coolest things is that they have a cart that roams around the beach itself. Great staff and like I said, so many choices that it will take more than one visit to get a proper sampling!

great, and I really mean, GREAT ice cream! Staff is friendly, menu changes to offer variety but still give the favorites everyday. Right on the boardwalk. Seriously, you can't go wrong here for a summer treat

Best ice cream in the entirety of Carolina Beach, hands down

In my opinion, this is the best Italian Ice in all of Carolina Beach. The refillable "koozie cups" is the best way to go if you are staying in the area for a few days or more, as it is only one dollar per scoop for Italian Ice ($1.50 per scoop if you want to get the ice cream).

This is the worst ice-cream we've ever had! Save your money and go somewhere else. Customer service was great but the ice cream had zero flavor! Tasted funky and all 8 of us got different flavors and each one just tasted horrible!

The guy on the beach rips off kids. Tells them the refills are a dollar and they are not. It is a dollar per scoop. Which is about the price in the first place. They rip people off so don’t buy anything from them!!

Went 1 hour after posted opening and shop was closed. Walked around side and lady was smoking a cigarette and said she needed to “wake up” (and that she’d just got up) before opening the store. We had limited time left on parking and told her we needed to order soon. Gave it a few more minutes and she didn’t open up so we left.

Island Ice factory has fabulous homemade ice cream in a huge variety flavors. Also the best. Italian ice on the boardwalk! Always stop in when we are. In Carolina Beach. Highly recommend!

Best ice cream!

Almond Joy was the best ice cream that I have ever had. I will definitely drive 2 1/2 hours to get another double scoop waffle cone. :)

I stopped in today(4/8/2018) and asked what time do y’all close. I was told that they closed at 7pm. I drove 15 miles and brought 12 people to buy ice cream. We arrived at 6:41and they were locked up tight! As good as their ice cream is, we will never go back!! Sadly, squiggly’s it is😢

They have the best italian ice and homemade ice cream! This is our first time to Carolina Beach on a 4 day vacation and we've already been twice on the first two days. My youngest son who has a major sweet tooth doesn't typically want ice cream LOVED it day one and asked for it on day two! We had the chocolate chocolate chip cookie dough (delicious) and vanilla the first day and chocolate and strawberry on day two...the strawberry is the absolute best I have ever had!! The milk and cookies and chocolate chip mint were also enjoyed by my husband and our niece. Staff was very friendly and we will probably be back today and tomorrow!! Definitely stop here for your sweet treat and wait if they are busy!! I know parking can be a bear at times...we walked about a mile the first time from our condo, but took a cab back and have used a cab to and from the boardwalk since (another best $10 spent...$5 ride plus tip). :)

Terrible service. Always closes and opens at different times than the times that are posted online and what they say when you call. I hate that people either waste their gas or energy walking all the way down their for them to have closed early. Its a shame.

I’ve never posted a bad review about any establishment, but this shop has the WORST soft serve I’ve ever had. Tasted like expired milk. Also saw roaches near the sauce bottles beside the cash register. Disgusting.
